How do I order a personalized novel ?

1 Create your account

If you are not a member yet, you can subscribe for free without any obligation to buy. Please choose your questionnaire and fill it in. You can come back and forth to your questionnaire as often as you need, the information will be saved for you.

2 Choose a title

Let's start exploring our shelves and catalogue! Several genres are at your disposal in order for you to choose one that is most convenient to you, to the person it will be offered to, or the event it will be offered for.

3 Add to my basket

Finally, you have to add the items to your basket and validate your order according to the different steps that are proposed to you.

Order follow up

You will be notified for each step of the order and book processing: questionnaire validation, order registration, parcel shipment.

In the questionnaire validation e-mail, you will also be notified of the book processing and expected shipment date.

How do I complete the questionnaire?

Once you have chosen a title:

  • Click on the button ' Let's get started',
  • Please read the introduction page carefully,
  • Answer all the questions page to page (Click on 'Next page') or thumbnail to thumbnail. Your answer will be automatically saved.
  • To personalize the cover, please complete the fields dedicated to the co-author(s) and/or to the hero(s),
  • If you wish, you can insert one or two pictures (co-author(s) and/or hero(s)).

To check if all fields of your questionnaires have been completed properly, you can always click on the thumbnail 'Evaluation'. In doing so, the list of the incomplete questions will be displayed, and in one click time you will be directed to the fields which still need to be filled.

Once all the questions are answered, you will be notified with a 'Well done you have answered all the questions!'. Then, you have to press the 'END' button. Action that will result in adding your book to our production line if the order payment has been validated.

How is the novel processed?

According to the processing deadline displayed on the website, your questionnaire is then in the hands of a proofreader who will correct the mistakes if any, and above all, make sure that the story remains consistent. They ensure that the 'spirit' of your work is preserved.

Finally, thanks to our cutting-edge software; your personalization will significantly modify the chosen storyline. The last touch-ups are brought by an editor who will take care of the fluidity of the text. Your novel is then finally ready.

Is my personal data protected?

Média Elibri does respect the rules of confidentiality and privacy. Moreover, we have a signed engagement toward the CNIL (National Commission for Data Protection), which prevents us from using any kind of transmitted piece of information.

One single person, bound by professional secrecy, will take care of the processing of your novel and of your piece of information.

Processing time

The processing time is displayed on the home page of your account www.mynovel.ca.

The usual production time is of three business days, after validation of the questionnaire. Once the parcel is shipped the delivery time depends on the mail delivery services.

The production time can vary according to the periods and get longer in high demand periods such as Christmas (i.e). The deadline displayed on the home page is updated on an ongoing basis taking our workflow into account.

Once the parcel is shipped, the delivery depends on the destination and the shipping option.

Is it possible to decide of the delivery date?

The novels are shipped according to the stamping rate (however several shipping options are available). We do our best to adjust the shipment date on demand, but can’t guaranty its arrival on time.

Can we modify a questionnaire that has already been validated?

Once you validate the questionnaire, the novel is automatically sent to our production department. It is then impossible to modify it from your account on the website. However you can reach our Customer Care dialing 450-795-1111. They will be able to tell you whether your modification can be added or not.

How do I obtain additional copies of a personalized novel?

I am the co-author of a personalized novel and I would like to order additional copies for my family and friends:

We can print additional books. From your library in your customer account on the website www.mynovel.ca you can reach your order history and order some additional copies.

You can also call or email our Customer Care. Have in hand the number of your novel as it will be asked to you. (You will find it on the last page of the book.).

You can order additional copies, however the agreement of the co-author is needed.

Please note the number of your novel (at the end of the book), go to www.mynovel.ca, log in your account or create your account.

Click on "My account", then on the "Additional Copies" button .

Enter the book number. We will get in touch with the co-author to ask for his agreement. You will be sent a confirmation e-mail with the instructions to finalize your order.

Can we speak about anything in a Media Elibri personalized novel?

We obey to the fundamental principle of freedom of speech. Excerpt of the universal declaration of human rights, article 19: "Everyone has the right to freedom of opinion and expression; this right includes freedom to hold opinions without interference and to seek, receive and impart information and ideas through any media and regardless of frontiers." Yes, you are free to speak about anything, within the limits of the Law. In case of non compliancy of the scenario with the law, Média Elibri reserves the right not to print the novels of customers who do not respect the Law. We do not allow anything offensive, libelous, racist, xenophobic, revisionist, that incites hatred toward a person or a group because of their origins or belonging or not-belonging to: a determined nation, race, ethnic group or religion; that breaches the peace, that can be punishable by the Law, that holds an extremist character or belongs to groups that are prohibited by the Law, that is inciting: crimes, suicide, terrorism; or praises: offence, crime, suicide, terrorism, war crimes or crimes against humanity; or that is contrary to good standards of behaviour or human dignity. In any case you will have to sign up your work in the co-author box. This is mandatory.

How can I avoid a determined subject?

The frame text can broach some subjects that the receiver might not appreciate. Do not hesitate to mention the sensitive subjects in one of the empty areas of the questionnaire.

How do I make a payment?

You can pay directly with a credit card (Visa, Mastercard or American Express) or a check over the website.

To pay per check :

Who owns the novel?

Media Elibri is and remains the owner of the frame text and all text deriving from the concept. You do own the book (as an item) but Comedia Publishing still owns the rights to the text.

What is the deadline for completing the questionnaire?

There is no deadline to complete the questionnaire, but if you want the book to be delivered on a precise date, you have to take into account our production line deadlines that are updated on a daily basis.

Is it possible to adapt or change a part of the novel?

Yes it is, with an additional cost of $130. You will be sent an .ODT file via e-mail so that you can amend your book within the limits of +/- 5000 characters. We will print it after one last verification by our proofreaders.
